Conferencia: The role of strategies and strategy instruction in second language learning and teaching

A los interesados en enseñanza de lenguas, lingüística aplicada y areas afines, el CELE invita a esta conferencia que será impartida por el Dr. Luke Plonsky*, el próximo viernes 18 de marzo a las 14:00 hrs. en el auditorio Rosario Castellanos del CELE en CU.




*Luke Plonsky is Senior Lecturer at University College London, where he teaches courses and conducts research in second language acquisition and quantitative methods. Recent and forthcoming articles in these and other areas can be found in Annual Review of Applied LinguisticsApplied LinguisticsCorporaLanguage Learning, Modern Language Journal, and Studies in Second Language Acquisition and in edited volumes published by Routledge, CUP, and Wiley Blackwell. Luke is Associate Editor of Studies in Second Language Acquisition and Managing Editor of Foreign Language Annals. He is also Co-Director (with Emma Marsden & Alison Mackey) of IRIS: A digital repository of Instruments for Research into Second Language Learning and Teaching (iris-database.org). Before joining UCL, Luke was Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at Northern Arizona University. He has also taught in The Netherlands, Spain, and Puerto Rico. Luke received his PhD in Second Language Studies from Michigan State University.
